Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst to join our client team in San Diego. This role requires a strong mix of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and communication skills to support warehouse management system reporting and data infrastructure across various departments. You’ll play a critical role in transforming data
into meaningful insights that drive strategic business decisions.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop, support, and maintain customized reports and dashboards.
• Document new and existing processes to ensure transparency and repeatability.
• Maintain data integrity across platforms such as SQL databases, Excel, Power BI, and VeraCore WMS systems.
• Design and maintain user-friendly reporting front-ends using Power BI, Excel, or equivalent tools for senior management.
• Work closely with IT to gather and interpret internal data needs.
• Participate in cross-functional project meetings and effectively communicate data
• insights and technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Continuously evaluate/improve existing reporting to optimize performance and usability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 - 5+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.
• Proficient in SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions such as Power Query and pivot tables).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and present data clearly and concisely to both technical and non- technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of scripting or automation tools (Python, Power Automate, or VBA).
• Ability to work full-time PST

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience with logistics, warehouse management systems, or supply chain environments.
• Familiarity with APIs and integrating data from multiple systems.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality standards, and compliance practices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and how they integrate with reporting tools.
• Experience with data visualization best practices and storytelling through data.
