Business Development Representative - Real Estate (Nigeria)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our real estate team and play a key role in driving new business opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and nurturing potential leads through cold calls, email outreach, and research. With a focus on distressed real estate assets. You will manage a pipeline of prospects, schedule qualification calls, and support the sales team by booking meetings with decision-makers. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records in the CRM, track key outreach metrics, and contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of sales processes and SOPs.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding outreach targets, strong communication skills, experience with enterprise CRM platforms, and the ability to work full-time in the EST timezone. Experience with tools like Sales Navigator, Gmail, and Slack is a plus.
Core Tasks:- Manage a pipeline of potential prospects through cold-calling or email outreach
- Create lead lists and enrich prospect data using several tools
- Schedule qualification calls with the ultimate goal of booking calls with sales leadership
- Manage contacts and paperwork at final deal stages
- Filter un- or underqualified leads through phone conversation
- Track and report on key outreach and close metrics
- Create role-related SOPs and edit / update them on an ongoing basis
- Perform other tactical sales, finance, and sales-marketing related tasks as needed
- 3+ years experience in phone outreach / an Appointment Setter or BDR outreach role
- 1+ years experience conducting distressed asset research for potential booked calls
- Demonstrated experience achieving and exceeding quota in a sales outreach role
- 1+ years experience using an enterprise grade CRM (eg, HubSpot)
- Basic - intermediate Excel / Google Sheets for pipeline management and reporting
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work full time EST
- Experience using Sales Navigator (preferred) or similar lead list building tools
- Familiarity with Gmail and Slack for internal comms
