Business Development Representative
Job Overview
Do you love the thrill of turning cold prospects into warm conversations? You’ll own targeted outreach across LinkedIn, DMs, and cold calls; building prospect lists, qualifying leads, testing fresh strategies, and booking high-value calls with leadership.
This is a hands-on role for someone who’s curious, consultative, metrics-driven, and not afraid to pick up the phone. If you know how to find the right people, start smart conversations, and keep the pipeline moving, you’ll fit right in.
Core Tasks:
• Manage a pipeline of potential prospects through DM and cold-calling.
• Create and implement account based marketing plans for niche local targets.
• Create lead lists and enrich prospect data using several tools.
• Act as a thought leader to explore and propose other outreach strategies.
• Test and validate outreach methods across platforms .
• Schedule qualification calls with the ultimate goal of booking calls with leadership.
• Filter un- or underqualified leads through phone conversation.
• Track and report on key outreach and close metrics.
• Create role-related metrics and edit / update them on an ongoing basis.
• Perform other tactical sales and sales-marketing related tasks as needed.
Must-Haves:
• 3+ years experience in phone outreach / an Appointment Setter or BDR outreach role.
• Hands on experience selling foreign exchange products or similar B2B services.
• Consultative approach with a willingness to try new methods.
• Strong (C-level) written and verbal English communication skills .
• 1+ years of experience developing and executing on AMB outreach plans .
• Experience executing linkedin DM campaigns .
• Experience using Sales Navigator (preferred) or similar lead list building tools .
• Demonstrated experience achieving and exceeding quota in a sales outreach role.
• 1+ years experience using HubSpot (or similar tool) for contact / pipeline mgmt.
• Basic - intermediate Excel / Google Sheets for pipeline management and reporting.
• Ability to work full-time MST.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience with oil and gas or adjacent products and services .
• Familiarity with Gmail and Slack for internal comms.
