Job Summary
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer with strong Python expertise to support our growing development needs. You’ll work alongside an existing team to enhance a backend platform, improve scalability, and help transition a website from Wix to a better solution. This is a contract role for an initial 1–2 month engagement, with the potential for extension based on project needs.
Core Tasks
- Develop and optimize backend services and APIs using Python.
- Assist with feature development and support existing backend/frontend work.
- Help transition a website from Wix to a more scalable platform (platform TBD).
- Collaborate with a Cloud Backend Engineer to ensure smooth integration.
- Improve system performance, scalability, and database efficiency.
- Work with GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaboration.
Must Haves
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience with a strong focus on Python.
- Proficiency in backend development, API design, and database management.
- Experience with frontend technologies (React, Vue, or similar).
- Experience using Apache Airflow
- Solid understanding of GitHub workflows, pull requests, and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with modern web development platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or custom solutions).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or similar).
