Job Summary

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer with strong Python expertise to support our growing development needs. You’ll work alongside an existing team to enhance a backend platform, improve scalability, and help transition a website from Wix to a better solution. This is a contract role for an initial 1–2 month engagement, with the potential for extension based on project needs.

Core Tasks

  • Develop and optimize backend services and APIs using Python.
  • Assist with feature development and support existing backend/frontend work.
  • Help transition a website from Wix to a more scalable platform (platform TBD).
  • Collaborate with a Cloud Backend Engineer to ensure smooth integration.
  • Improve system performance, scalability, and database efficiency.
  • Work with GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaboration.

Must Haves

  • 3+ years of full-stack development experience with a strong focus on Python.
  • Proficiency in backend development, API design, and database management.
  • Experience with frontend technologies (React, Vue, or similar).
  • Experience using Apache Airflow
  • Solid understanding of GitHub workflows, pull requests, and CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with modern web development platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or custom solutions).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or similar).

  • Contract Duration: 1–2 months (potential for extension).
  • Location: Remote (IST or EST preferred for time zone alignment).
  • Start Date: ASAP.
