Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong Python and React expertise to build and scale responsive front-end features, backend systems, and secure APIs in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions while ensuring seamless functionality, data integrity, and system reliability.

Core Tasks:

• Develop and optimize responsive and dynamic front-end features
• Collaborate to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend services
• Assist with the creation of secure and scalable user authentication and login systems
• Collaborate with design and marketing to align technical solutions with business goals
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable /efficient backend systems 
• Build and maintain APIs to support front-end functionality
• Manage and optimize database performance, ensuring data integrity and security
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure seamless functionality and uptime

Must Haves:

• 5+ years software engineering experience (preferably in a startup environment)
• Strong Python and React skills (building and scaling production apps)
• Experience designing APIs / data models / backend systems at scale
• Strong (C-level) English communication skills
• Ability to work full-time EST

Nice to Haves:

• Hand on devops experience
• AWS Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Aurora
• Energy trading / commodities background
